This very special retreat of prayer and sharing experience of living Catholic faith today was *Fully Booked* in September, so do be sure to book your place early! This event is particularly inviting Educators to take part - teachers, Governors, teaching assistants, support staff.

It starts on the Friday evening at 7.30pm ending at 9.30pm, with a Cheese and Wine welcome and an introduction to the team and the programme,

The retreat then continues on the Saturday from 10-6.

It takes place in St John Stone’s Hall, Sandbrook Way, Woodvale PR8 3RN.

Lunch on Saturday, and all refreshments throughout the retreat are provided. Do please let us know about any dietary restrictions which we will try to accommodate. There is no charge for the retreat, but donations are welcome to cover the costs.

Please also pray for blessings for the retreat.

Come and dig in for "Improving Woodvale's" flash-planting day on 20th May from 10.30.

Come to St John Stone's Club at 10.30 and help fill two large new planters with soil, shrubs, bulbs and bedding plants to beautify Sandbrook Way. If we have any extra plants they will be used along Sandbrook Way.

We'll also pick up litter and get rid of weeds.

Refreshments will be served by Ainsdale Family Church.

The planters and​soil were obtained by Councillor Lynne Thompson

Bulbs were donated by Homebase, Formby.

Shrubs and bedding plants were donated by Tesco, Formby

Lynne also secured a donation for plants, thank you!
